When do I need to have payroll funded?

48 hours prior to pay date. For instance, if your pay date is on a Friday then we require all funding to be in place no later than Wednesday.

When do I need to submit my hours for payroll?

72 hours prior to pay date. For instance, if your pay date is on a Friday then we require all payroll hours to be submitted no later than Tuesday.

How do I submit changes for payroll?

You can make changes through our online payroll portal or you email changes directly to your dedicated payroll specialist.

What do I do when we enter a new state?

Please, notify your payroll specialist immediately. We cannot pay employees in the new state until you provide us with the tax ID’s.

What can I expect regarding training on new software?

Our Implementation team will work with you one-on-one to provide training on a multitude of services. You will have the opportunity to learn the payroll system, how to correct hours and wages, how to make employee changes, and more! If additional services are needed, we will also coordinate training with you on those systems. These would be systems such as timekeeping, HR and onboarding, or other coordinating systems that support the payroll functions.

What is expected of me and my business after transition?

PBS will need a dedicated contact at your office for payroll questions and changes. We will be your partner in navigating payroll and payroll-related concerns, but we still need a day-to-day contact at your company to submit and verify information. This contact will allow us to verify everything is correct and to allow you to continue working on revenue-based activities within your company.
